Jay is a wonderful guy and a very knowledgeable trekking guide. He made the initial planning of the trip easy and catered the package to our group's specific needs. Our group of 6 all arrived in Kathmandu at different times and Jay personally picked each member up from the airport and drove them to the hotel. He showed us around the major religious sites of Kathmandu before taking us on the Nagarkot Chisopani hike. The trail was beautiful and the accommodation was lovely. After 2 nights and 3 days on the trail, we went back to Kathmandu for a night and then drove to Pokhara. The hotel in Pokhara was beautiful and the following day we set out on the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek. Jay made sure every member of the group was comfortable and he eagerly shared his knowledge of the mountains and Nepalese culture, but we also had plenty of time to explore on our own and relax in the tea houses. The trekking was incredible and Jay made sure every transition was seamless. We drove back to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu the following day and Jay, once again, drove each of us to the airport for our separate departing flights. Jay is an amazing guide and his service is extremely professional. I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone looking for a great trekking experience in Nepal.

Our group had an amazing trip with our guide Jay and were able to enjoy Nepal both as a group and by ourselves. We had an excellent time on both treks we chose and were accommodated very well by Jay. I would recommend anyone interested in seeing Nepal this opportunity!

Jay is such a bubbly guy! During the trek he was always alert and looking out for our safety, making sure the terrain we were on was safe and if it wasn’t , ensured we got past the area along the safest route possible. Super friendly and positive even in the toughest weather we experienced. He was a real joy to be around and was excellent in guiding us along the trek. Also super knowledgeable when it comes to essentially all aspects of trekking. His great command of English also ensured we were always on the same page and constant communication allowed us to become friends! Our porter also happened to have family relations with jay and was also such a friendly Chap. They were very easy to get along with and by the end of the trip we felt like close buds! I would recommend Jay and his agency any day. No regrets.

I recently completed the Nar Phu Valley trek with Unique Nepal Adventures. Jay was a pleasure to work with, and our guide Ramesh was incredible. This trek was simply amazing. I would recommend Jay and the Nar Phu trek to anyone.

Jay and his team were incredibly helpful and thorough. We were taken care of from the minute we arrived at Kathmandu. Ramesh and the porters were the kindest, most energetic team and helped my 75 year old father trek for 7 days and 75 miles. We did the Phu-Nar circuit and it was 7 days of bliss. We had beautiful weather and the peace and quiet of the trip is incomparable. No vehicles, no wifi, no hot water for an entire week. If you are looking to get away, this is the trip for you. Though we kept the altitude to 4100m, be warned this is a lot of trekking. Some days are quite long, so get in as much prep time as possible.

We picked Unique Nepal Adventure because Jay - the owner- was so responsive to our inquiries and because he guided us towards a two week trek of the Nar Phu valley in the Annapurna area. The best choice for us, it combined breathtaking scenery, with cultural experiences living with people in villages that have not changed for a thousand year and monasteries that were awe inspiring. The trek was demanding both in terms of distance covered and altitude gained and steepness of the trail - only foot trails. We had one expert guide and two porters to support us. The guide took care of all our needs such as guesthouses and food and where necessary repaired the trail. The porters were amazing as they had to carry two of our own packs- turned out that at 75 I could not carry one if I wanted to complete the track- plus their own equipment. One in particular followed me where ever I went and made sure I was safe. Add to that that we had fantastic weather and altogether the most amazing trek ever. Thanks to the team that supported us.
