Tilicho Lake Trekking begins first; you will land at Kathmandu Airport, stay overnight in Kathmandu, and then drive the next day to Besisahar or further. It is a beautiful trekking route along the Marshyangdi river bank and Manang Valley in the Annapurna circuit. You are exploring the first part of the hilly region and terraces, the local lifestyle, and their culture. You will see many white snow peaks with their scenic beauty. Tilicho Lake is situated at the highest altitude, 4919m. It is adventurous; we arrange to take it slowly from low land. It takes a few days to arrive in the beautiful village of Manang. You will touch Tiliko Lake in two days from Manang. Tilicho Base Camp has well-managed lodges and provides nice food and comfortable rooms. The next day, early in the morning, after taking breakfast, you must hike to the lake. It takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to get to Tilicho Lake, observe it, take photos, drink a cup of hot tea at the tea shop, and then return to base camp. After taking lunch and backpacking to Shree Kharka, you need to walk for a couple of hours.
The next day, you will join the main trail at Yak Kharka in the Annapurna Circuit. Trekking continues to Throng Phedi, High Camp, and the highest passes of Thorong La, 5416m. You will arrive at the holy area in Muktinath. Here are Hindu and Buddhist temples and monasteries. Many pilgrims come to worship. It is part of Upper Mustang, Windy Valley, Apple Valley, and Kaligandaki Valley. The trek ends in Jomsom, and you can fly back to Pokhara or drive to Tatopani, Beni, and Pokhara, or you can walk to Tatopani, Ghorepani, and Ghandruk village, then end in Pokhara. A 15-Day Tilicho Lake Trek costs between $775 to $855 per person, depending on the service you choose, either a full-board package from arrival to departure, or just Kathmandu to Pokhara. This price applies to a group of at least 2 people. If you're traveling solo, the price may be slightly higher.

Day 18: You must get up early in the morning and need to ascend an hour to a 360-degree viewpoint called Poonhill (3210m)

After watching spectacular views, return to the lodge, take your breakfast, pack your bag, and then trek downwards to Ulleri Tikhedunga Hill. Catch a local jeep to return to Pokhara. It takes 2 hours to drive and stay at a standard hotel in Pokhara.
Day 19: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus or by flight; select yourself. The tourist bus is a long journey (almost 7/8 hrs.) by flight only (30 minutes) and costs as well, according to the facility. Stay at a standard hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 20: Departure to your country or one day extend and fully relax, shopping, and sightseeing as your wish. We organize according to your requirements.
It is a perfect itinerary for someone with enough time. It is 100% successful to touch Tilicho Lake and Throng La Pass because we take it slowly from lowland to high altitude. It adjusts you and makes you feel easy. But, with our main itinerary being 15 days, it is also not bad. We make both programs nicely and successfully.

When is the best time to visit Tilicho Lake Trek?
The best time to visit Tilicho Lake is in the autumn (September, October, November, and late December) and in the spring (March, April, and May). Those months' weather is always clear, with a good temperature, good visibility, and fantastic, crystal-clear mountain views.
The winter and monsoon seasons are also not bad. Winter is snowing and very freezing cold, and the monsoon is most of the time raining, cloudy, and with poor visibility. If you like to trek in the monsoon or winter, it is possible. We arranged a safe and successful trip.

Do we need an entry permit for Tilicho Lake trekking?
Yes, you need it; you are visiting the Annapurna Conservation Area, and you must issue a couple of permits according to the below-mentioned You should send a passport photocopy and a passport-size photo. There are many checkposts by ACAP and the police. If you don’t carry permits, they will now allow you to visit the Annapurna Conservation Area. Our guide will manage it during the trek and then give it to you at the end.
