Unique Nepal Adventure is led by a professional with many years of experience in tourism since 2000. This individual began their career as a porter and assistant guide, eventually becoming a professional trekking guide and independent city tour guide. In 2014, established their own trekking company (UNA).

We believe in the power of teamwork and have a dedicated team of licensed trekking guides with over a decade of experience in adventure trekking, supported by strong porters and assistant guides.

Our top priority is to ensure a safe, successful, and memorable trip for our clients. We provide excellent quality services and are committed to helping everyone through any difficulties along the journey, making it a joyful and memorable experience.     Warm greetings from the Managing Director,

    I am Jay Gurung, the Managing Director and Founder of Unique Nepal Adventure Pvt .Ltd. I was born at the base of Mt. Ganesh Himal in the Dhading district and moved to Kathmandu in 2001 to pursue higher education. However, due to financial constraints, I decided to work in the tourism industry. 

    Over the years, I gained valuable experience, initially working as an assistant and then as a trekking and tour guide after completing my training at the Nepal Academy of Tourism & Hotel Management. I have guided clients in numerous trekking regions, including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, and Manaslu. My expertise also extends to Tibet and India, as well as peak climbing.

    Since 2014, I have been leading my own trekking company, Unique Nepal Adventure, offering unique trekking and touring experiences, combining my extensive fieldwork with academic studies in cultural tourism. My team consists of experienced, multilingual guides who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. Our motto, “Atithi Devo Bhava” (Clients are our Gods), reflects our commitment to client satisfaction.

    More than decades of field work expereinced mountaineering adventure made me confident and able to share acurate informaotin to my valuable clients and lead them. I am enjoying it so much to professionally share the story of Nepal, culture, heritage, and nature beauties.
