Helambu Trek starts from Sundarijal via Chisopani or Melamchipul, Main destiny is till Tarkegyang Monastery. Tamang & Sherpa people inhabitant & explores their lifestyle cultures, traditions, languages, and dress up and most of the people are Buddhist religion. We can see many white snow peaks such as Mt Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar, Shisapangma, Helambu, Langtang & Ganesh Himal ranges. Wildlife animal’s flora & Fauna etc. You can do this trekking along Langtang Valley via Gosainkunda Trek.
Helambu TrekEspecially, Helambu Trek is exploring Tamang & Sherpa Lifestyle, Their Religion of Buddhism which is the oldest and historical Monastery in Tarkegyang. Helambu trek is a short, sweet, and easily accessible trek. It is situated between the Shivapuri and Langtang National Park and easily accessible from Kathmandu. Helambu Trek explores so many historical Monasteries, colorful rhododendron flowers, superb white snow mountain views, picturesque Sherpa & Tamang settlements, friendly people and after all unspoiled culture of the area. This trek is more like a cultural trek than a mountain and glacier expedition. The people here think of themselves as Sherpa, but their relationship with the Sherpa of the Solukhumbu is distant. The dialects spoken are also different. People here follow the Buddhist religion, so you will find many old Buddhist monasteries in the villages. Tarkeghyang (3500m) has the biggest monastery and many Buddhist pilgrimages go to pray there and another Sherpa town along the way, which bears its own story. Our trek starts from Kathmandu after driving by bus/car to Sundarijal, which is just 13kms from Kathmandu. We then continue to ascend to Chisopani where we spend the first night just outside the valley. Chisopani offers great views of the mountains and landscape. We then almost make a full circle going through Kutumsang, Tharepati, Tarkeghyang, and Sermathang and finally to Melamchi Pul Bazaar where we take the bus back to Kathmandu.

It is short and sweet, easy accessible trekking. The Helambu trek cost US$ 395 per person and needs a minimum of 2 people for trekking. If you are a single visitor, price will be a bit more.
Where to start the trek and How About Transportation?
Beofre starting your trek and after ending of your trek, you should catch vehilce accordingly. Kathmandu to Sundarijal by private vehicle as a car or jeep then the trek starts along Sundarijal, Chisopani Kutimsang, Tharepati, Targegyang & Return by vehicle to Kathmandu.

Helambu region is a well-cultivating area, they grow lots of organic crops & vegetables in their own farm & Garden. They provide organic hygienic meals and well manage tea hous facilitate lodge. They have comfortable, neat, and clean beds as well as warm hospitality.
How many days trekking will be in Halambu?
You can do a minimum of 5 - 6 days trekking. We customize your trip according to your days. Or directly you can go by off-road driving jeep and stay overnight then can return the next day. Do We Need any Antry Permit for Helambu Trek?
Yes, You need to issue entry permit. You are visiting Nagarjun and Shivapuri National Park and they required you entry permit. Our guide will manage it where is check post he shows your permit. It is not much only Nrs 1000. We organize it.
Trekking Gear of Helambu Trek
You should arrange warm enough clothing because of trekking in the surroundings, 3500m. The list of trekking gear is a big jacket as a down jacket, warm enough fleece, warm paint & inner, warm hat, gloves, warm enough sucks, warm trousers or trekking pants, some quick-dry trekking t-short, half paint, warm enough negative sleeping bag, comfortable trekking boot, headlight, sandal, 2-liter water bottle, sun cream, sunglasses, day pack comfort bag, camera and charger as two-pin, towel, Toiletries’, etc.
Carry your important medicine
Medicine is very important if you have any ailment, you must carry the medicine with you. That “prevention is better than cure” mountain region we can’t find any healthcare, clinic, or hospital if there is a clinic you may not get according to your problems. So; I humble request please prepare if you are continually taking any medicine, please bring it with you or buy it in Kathmandu. It is very important, but our company will provide something first aid kit bag normally for a headache, fever, stomach problem as diarrhea, cough & cold some bandage, tape & Diamox for high altitude sickness, etc.
