Gosainkunda Trek specializes as a sacred holy lake symbolizing (Hindu God) “Lord Shiva” situated on 4360m in the Langtang region. We make a short itinerary 3 days of walking and 2 days by vehicle total 5 days if you are interested and have more day’s route can be a bit long along Langtang valley or crossing the Gosainkunda pass called Lauribina La Pass 4620m then the trek will end near Kathmandu valley in Sundarijal. It is situated near the Tibet border, Tamang community their cultures, customs, and wilderness nature beauties. Here are some trekking routes as Langtang valley Trek, Tamang Heritage Trekking Trail, and Gosainkunda Laurabina La Pass. You will have the chance to see some wild animals like flora and fauna. Gosainkunda has many lakes as Bhairab Kunda, Parbati Kunda, Surya Kunda, Saraswati Kunda, etc. Mainly, we can see the main Gosainkunda and Bhairab Kund which is the biggest and deepest as well.

Kathmandu to Dunche by the local vehicle as a bus, jeep or can take private Jeep. And, after ending your trek again you will take the same vehicle local bus, jeep or private Jeep, etc.

Walking: Every day needs to walk 5 to 7 hrs and a fine trail.

Do we need an entry permit to do Gosainkunda Trek?

Yes, you are visiting Langtang National Park and if you cross Lauribina la Pass you will visit Shivapuri National Park as well. You need to pay those entrance permit fees. We make your entrance permits. One is the national park fee, another is TIMS Trekking Information Management System.

Carry your important medicine

Medicine is very important if you have any disease, you must carry the medicine with you. I mean “prevention is better than care” In the mountain region, we can’t find any health care, clinic, or hospital if there is a clinic you may not get according to your problem medicine. So; I humble request, please prepare if you are continually taking any medicine. It is very important, but our company will provide something first aid kit bag normally for headaches, fever, and stomach problems as diarrhea, cough & cool some bandages, tape & Diamox for high altitude sickness, etc.

Gosainkunda Trekking - 5 Days 

It is only from Kathmandu to Kathmandu. If you like more or less days on the itinerary, feel free. It can expand along Langtang Valley or Gosainkunda Laurabinayala Pass. But for those who have a short time, they can do according to the below-created perfect itinerary.
